Hey friends,

In this entry, I just wanted to share about a girl that I've been trying to evangelize to at school, and I hope you keep her in your prayers. We met when we were first waiting for the shuttle to take us to our English class. She said hi to me and introduced herself, so I introduced myself as well, and we made some small talk on various subjects. After the second or third time talking to her, since we had become friends at that point, I found it safe to ask her some questions about her faith, and she admitted to me that she was raised in a Buddhist family, but that her sister was Christian. However, after asking the Pastor Ray question, "Do you know for sure without a doubt that if you were to die today that you would go to heaven and not be condemned for your sins?" I finally figured out that even though she did believe in God, she did not fully know Him or trust Him for that matter. She said that she wasn't sure that her sins were forgiven, because she had the Catholic belief that you need to confess all your sins more than once to a priest, so I told her that the belief was wrong, and that if she confessed all her sins to Christ just once that He would forgive her. She also told me that she had heard that demons were responsible for sin, but I told her that that belief wasn't true either, because even though there are demons in the world, Satan cannot control us unless God gives him permission, then I shared Romans 3:23 with her, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", then after that I just answered any questions that she had to the best of my ability, and then we got to the classroom after that. But anyways, please pray for her that she will continue to be receptive to God's Word, and that I can show her His love, because I think she sort of views Him as a policeman, just waiting for her to commit a sin so that He can condemn her, so please pray that I can show her that He is loving as well as firm. I think she is also kind of scared of Christians, because she has the belief that we would judge her for not knowing the Bible as well as we do, so just pray that the Lord will put the words into my mouth to be able to show her that not all Christians are judgmental people. If you have read this far, thank you for being patient with me. Good night and God bless.
